Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Kihei, Maui)
- Location: Kihei, Maui, Hawaii
- Job Type: Part-Time (12-25 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers and visitors.
- Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and making purchasing decisions.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor to create a pleasant shopping environment.
- Stock and replenish merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the store manager.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell products and offer additional items to enhance customer experience.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must be a resident of Maui, specifically living in or near Kihei.
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle difficult situations.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and operating the cash register.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for providing outstanding service.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects when necessary.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
