Take Ten Tire and Lube currently has an opportunity available for Service Technicians who are energetic and team-oriented. We must have HD Service Tech knowledge and experience, be responsible for the service and maintenance of heavy-duty vehicles, and safely get our phenomenal customers back on the road. This job is demanding and competitive, requiring someone with an upbeat attitude and a positive outlook-only the serious and experienced need to apply.
As a Service Technician, your goal is to provide outstanding customer service to our customers while being the best in the business and servicing customers' vehicles. The primary role of this position is to conduct all levels of mechanical service to our customers. This position provides efficient and comprehensive service that meets all our quality and safety requirements and works as part of a team to present a positive customer experience. All work provided must follow company policies, procedures, and industry best practices and no employee should attempt to do any work for which they have not been trained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Perform repairs to specifications (wheel alignments, steering / suspension systems, brake systems, light engine work, battery, alternator, belts, tune-ups, scan codes, sensors, flushes, etc.).
- Diagnosis of problems on all operational systems of vehicles.
- Prepare service estimates for the repair of vehicles and communicate any service needed
- Administer Fleet Checks and safely maintain fleet vehicles in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
- Treat customers fairly and honestly and demonstrate our commitment to superior, passion-driven customer service and ethical business practices.
- Completes work orders and related paperwork accurately.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, providing service calls on nights, weekends or holidays when needed.
- Comply with company safety policies & procedures and participate in all training when presented.
- Test drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Conduct a brief overall vehicle inspection to identify safety or mechanical issues.
- Communicate any additional service needs encountered and the time and cost scope to complete.
- Execute repairs and maintenance to meet safety regulations and manufacturer's specifications
