Take Ten Tire and Service currently has an opportunity for energetic, team-oriented Service Technicians - Mini Boom Truck. Candidates must possess tire knowledge and experience and be accountable for the service and maintenance of tires and wheels, ensuring our exceptional customers get back on the road safely. This job is demanding and competitive, requiring an upbeat attitude and a positive outlook.
As a Service Technician, your goal is to provide outstanding customer service to our customers while being the best in the business in replacing, repairing, and rotating tires on customers' vehicles. The Service Technician is also responsible for mounting, dismounting, and balancing heavy service truck tires on emergency road service calls and customer fleet parking lots. Employees in this position will primarily be working outdoors and must focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Remove, repair, rotate, inflate, check air pressure, calibrate TPMS, and repair light truck, large truck, agricultural and industrial tires on the roadside, in the shop, or at customer sites, ensuring all wheels are torqued to the proper manufacturer specifications upon completion.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers, taking ownership of removal and replacement of all tires brought in.
- Load and unload stock and assist with physical inventory
- Administer Fleet Checks and safely maintain tires of fleet vehicles in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized shop atmosphere.
- Treat customers fairly, honestly and demonstrate our commitment to superior passion driven customer service and ethical business practices.
- Completes work orders and related paperwork accurately.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, providing service calls on nights, weekends, or holidays when needed.
- Comply with company safety policies & procedures and participate in all training when presented.
- Previous OTR experience
- Capable of operating a hand truck or mini-boom truck.
Requirements
- 1 - 2 years of experience in heavy-duty and commercial tires (Required).
- 1 - 2 years of experience in passenger, light truck, agriculture, or industrial tires (Required).
- ASE/TIA certification and/or willingness to participate in training
- Ability to operate all auto repair tools
- Maintain a high level of motivation, energy and a customer – focused attitude.
- Clean Driving record.
- Ability to lift and/or move tires weighing 30-250 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance.
- DOT Physical.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
