As part of the Patient Value Access team, you will report to the Vice President of US Market Access and partner with commercial and operational functions.
How You Will Contribute
- Develop and lead the Strategic Account Management (SAM) team to execute strategic business plans and core materials to meet regional and national goals across Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Community, Academic, and Professional State Societies.
- Promote a culture of accountability, urgency, high performance, and ethical behavior while ensuring professional development and exceeding goals.
- Clarify and set SAM objectives that align with Takeda’s strategy to ensure performance targets are exceeded through executed strategies against well-established strategic business goals.
- Collaborate and maintain alignment with various cross-functional internal leaders and stakeholders to develop and effectively utilize innovative solutions.
- Create and communicate weekly performance metrics to senior leadership and partner closely with coverage team leadership to implement plans, initiatives, and resources to acquire new business partnerships and drive growth.
- Work collaboratively with multiple leadership stakeholders across several functions, including Field Sales, Strategy & Operations, Ethics & Compliance, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Legal, to achieve goals and objectives.
- Set objectives and goals, allocate budget, devise strategies to identify new opportunities, and develop programs to attract potential clients and maintain existing accounts.
- Establish understanding and relationships within key oncology customer segments, including but not limited to targeted networks, organized customer groups, oncology pathways, IDNs, and specialty GPOs.
- Identify and share insights / trends within the target segment, including business models, relevant metrics, unique challenges, strategic goals, and procedures for protocol development.
- Demonstrate leadership across stakeholder organizations to establish and enhance the value of Takeda Oncology beyond its products.

U.S. Base Salary Range
205,100.00 – 322,300.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on various factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific skills, level of education attained, certifications, or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and / or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S.-based employees may be eligible for short-term and / or long-term incentives. U.S.-based employees may also participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.-based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
