Job Overview
As a Manufacturing Technician II at Takeda Pharmaceutical, you will play a vital role in implementing production processes while adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines, and applicable regulations. This position requires technical and administrative competence to organize and lead production activities.
- Assist with the movement of Flexbumin between inspection stages and packaging within the value stream.
- Document process activities on routers or in the electronic batch management system (EBM).
- Report to the Supervisor, Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting manufacturing operations.
- Leading Manufacturing Technicians I in daily tasks.
- Operating general production equipment, including Downstream Automated Packaging (DAP) lines, forklifts, and hoists.
- Receiving and distributing supplies into the production area.
- Performing daily cleaning of the production area to maintain GMP standards.
- Training new and existing employees/contractors on procedures.
- Communicating issues related to safety, quality, compliance, and equipment to the manufacturing lead operator and supervisor.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 2 years' experience or an AA or higher degree and 1 year of related work experience.
- Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing.
- Ability to meet individual production task deadlines during shifts.
- Ability to follow company safety and quality guidelines.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position that requires working around chemicals and standing/walking for extended periods. The ideal candidate will be able to stand and/or walk for 12 hours between rooms and across the site.
