We are seeking a skilled Medical Manufacturing Specialist Senior to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the hands-on execution of all activities in the production area. This includes executing all processes in production while strictly following cGMP, environmental health, and safety guidelines and any other related regulations. You will participate in both departmental projects and quality working teams.
The successful candidate will have technical and administrative competence to organize and lead production activities, including demonstrating leadership in state-of-the-art cGMP compliance, and environmental health and safety skills. They must be able to troubleshoot process and equipment problems in a timely manner to minimize manufacturing downtime. Additionally, they must be able to manage personal training plans to enhance knowledge, skills, and capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have 4 years of related work experience or an AA degree or higher and 2 years of related work experience. They must be able to speak, read, write, and follow detailed written and oral instructions in English. Familiarity with pharmaceutical production equipment, including autoclave, DP oven, and CIP/SIP, is also required. Basic chemical and biological safety procedures knowledge is necessary as well.
In addition, the candidate must be able to carry up to 30lbs, lift up to 30lbs, push/pull up to 30lbs with assistance of material handling equipment. They must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods over an 8-12 hour shift between rooms and across the site. A 20/20 near and distance vision with or without glasses and/or contacts is required. May not be colorblind. Will work around moving equipment and machinery. May require immunization before performing work within the manufacturing area. Must remove all makeup, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment. May work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers, and Celite that may require respiratory protection. Must be able to work on multiple shifts, including weekends, to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation as needed.
