TakePoint Private Security – Now Hiring two Contract 1099, unarmed Security Officer's in the Daytona Area for OUTSIDE PATROL on foot mainly with some golf cart usage.

TakePoint Private Security is looking for a security officer to fill subcontractor positions in the area, with potential future opportunities for part-time or flex employment.

We are expanding our services in the region from just EP to Security Guarding and are seeking dedicated security professionals to join our team. The first available detail will take place on Thursday or Friday , the 13/14th, and candidates must be able to meet with the manager once hired Tuesday or Wednesday prior to the assignment, in the area.

Requirements:

• PREFERRED: have (tactical armor vest, solid flash-light, comfortable shoes, and tact belt)!! IF YOU A SQUARED AWAY OTHERWISE WE HAVE OPTIONS.
• PREFERRED; provide your own BROWN or BLACK -neat- Cargo or BDU pants ( other specifics will be provided during the hiring process; if this is an issue, please let us know, asap!).
• MUST be a very reliable, on-time, a (night-hawk), have lots of stamina, be alert, and in shape. Also must be comfortable working alone through the night.
• Valid CPR card

Compensation & Benefits:

• $16.00 per hour for this contract work starting on 3/13/25 till 3/17/25. Possible more shifts in late Feb and more starting in March. Also more contacts in the area and multiple days in March and the near future.
• Additional opportunities available throughout Central and North Florida including Part-time and Flex.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access for RV visitors, and others to ensure the security of the premises.
• Conduct routine patrols to deter, detect, and respond to signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Observe and safeguard the property consisting of 10 acres.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies with a calm and professional approach.
• Provide assistance in emergency situations, including administering First Aid or CPR as needed.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences in comprehensive reports.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Use conflict management strategies to de-escalate tense or volatile situations.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying risks and implementing preventative measures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in security
• Certification in First Aid/CPR is a strong plus and must be attainable
• Experience with loss prevention strategies is beneficial
• Military background is highly regarded for its discipline and understanding of security protocols but not needed.
• Strong conflict resolution and communication skills are essential.
• Confidence in with dealing with residents
