Position Overview:
The Testing and Shipping Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of products to customers. This role involves conducting various tests on products, troubleshooting any issues, and preparing them for shipment. The technician will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet the required specifications and are ready for distribution.
Responsibilities:
Testing Procedures:
• Execute a range of tests on products to assess their functionality, performance, and adherence to quality standards.
• Follow standardized testing procedures and document test results accurately.
• Identify and report any product defects or malfunctions encountered during testing.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing.
• Monitor and maintain testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Assist in developing and improving testing protocols and quality control processes.
• Training new associates in all areas of performance testing.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing procedures and results.
• Generate comprehensive reports summarizing test outcomes, including any deviations or anomalies.
• Communicate test results to relevant stakeholders, such as engineers and product managers.
Shipping Preparation:
• Prepare products for shipment by ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to schedule pickups, deliveries, and track shipments.
• Verify the accuracy of shipping information, including addresses and product quantities.
Inventory Management:
Assist in managing inventory levels by performing regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure sufficient stock levels for testing and shipping activities.
Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities to streamline testing and shipping processes for increased efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.

Qualifications
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Previous experience in a testing or quality control role is preferred.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, equipment, and tools.
• Basic understanding of product shipping processes and logistics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in documenting and reporting test results accurately.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with relevant software applications.
