Are you passionate about shaping the future of manufacturing? Takeuchi Mfg (US) ltd’s SC production facility, located in Moore, SC, is looking for a dynamic Manufacturing Training Coordinator to lead our industrial training program. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in developing, coordinating, and delivering training that supports our manufacturing operations while ensuring high-quality standards and safe work practices across all functions.
You’ll also work closely with our engineering team and quality department, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and contributing to the growth and efficiency of our workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Lead Training Programs: Create a robust assembly training program to cover all aspects of SC01 assembly operations, including forklift, crane, and track loader training.
- Engage and Inspire: Lead classroom training sessions and practical assessments to ensure team members are equipped with the skills they need to excel.
- Documentation Excellence: Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and One Point Lessons (OPLs) to reflect changes in processes.
- Onboarding & Continuous Learning: Oversee new employee onboarding, ensuring that associates are well-versed in tool usage, assembly operations, and safety protocols.
- Workplace Audits: Conduct audits to ensure adherence to safety and operational standards, providing retraining when necessary.
- Collaboration: Partner with the engineering team to enhance standard work practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 5 years of hands-on manufacturing experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role
- Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with workplace software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a self-starter attitude
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
