What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide position at Taking Control Consumer Directed Personal Attendant Services?
Looking for a competent Home Health Aide to support activities of daily living. The fulfilment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this job. Experience in housekeeping tasks and personal care services/homecare preferred. However, this is a great opportunity for someone out of high school, starting to get back into the workforce, or with little to no history.
The job is in the Hogansburg, NY area. The The shift is 14 hours per week. Rate of pay is $17.55 per hour. The shift is days. The shift is flexible.
RATE OF PAY IS $17.55/HR

The PA will be paid by the Western NY Independent Living Center through direct deposit, check, or provided debit card. New hires will have to attend a 2-hour virtual orientation, submit shot records, obtain a physical, and complete a PPD shot. COVID & flu vaccine is not required for this position. The physical/PPD will be paid for by the WNYIL company if you have no records.
The Consumer Directed Personal Attendant Services (CDPAS) program is a non-traditional homecare program where the consumer who receives care hire, trains, schedules, and terminates a PA of their choosing. Experience is not necessary, but encouraged.
