Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing an engaging curriculum that fosters children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Responsibilities
- Educate and engage preschool-aged children through age-appropriate activities and lessons.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that includes math, literacy, art, and play-based learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Foster relationships with students to support their individual needs and encourage their growth.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any concerns.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Observe and assess children's development regularly to tailor educational approaches accordingly.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while promoting positive behavior among students.
- Experience in private school settings is a plus but not required.
- A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
