JOB DESCRIPTION
Tal Behavioral Health is looking to hire a Clinical Director. This is a key upper management position of leadership. The Clinical Director is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations and coordination of clinical counseling services. The Clinical Director reports to the Chief Executive Officer and monitors the coordination of services available from the agency that will contribute to quality care for clients and families. This position ensures clinical compliances with federal, state, county and local regulations, mandates and program guidelines. This is a professional position, highly visible and should exemplify high standards and ethical behavior towards staff and clients.
The Clinical Director must have credentials of either LISW-S (Licensed Independent Social Worker) or LICDC (Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor). Also, preferably at least 2 years’ experience of supervision and administration in the field of substance abuse and mental health.
The Clinical Director will be responsible for the direction, provision, development and oversight of outpatient treatment services focusing on individuals struggling with substance use as well as affected family members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing oversight of all clinical and administrative aspects of the operation
- Maintaining a caseload of clients
- Ensuring the development, implementation, and enforcement of all policies and procedures
- Ensuring that approaches to treatment are evidence based or evidence-informed
- Providing supervision to other clinicians
- Performing outreach and networking to ensure the clinic is maximally utilized
- Ensuring that counseling services are provided as specified in the client treatment plan, and coordinated with other client care services, if applicable, to provide comprehensive continuity of care
- Coordinating with other Safe leaders to ensure maximal insurance reimbursement for services provided.
