Our client, an independent teaching hospital at the forefront of innovative medicine in Brooklyn, is hiring a Gastroenterologist, Advanced Endoscopy Physician. Join a distinguished faculty team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate care for people with disorders of the GI tract, pancreas, biliary tract and liver.
• Provide diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, with the goal of minimizing the patient's need for further surgery and maintaining the integrity of the GI tract.
• Build the practice and becoming active in the community

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Hold accreditation from the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Fellowship trained
• New York State medical license or be eligible for licensure
• Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration
• Commitment to patient-centered multidisciplinary GI care
• Experience in general gastroenterology and advanced GI services (ERCP/EUS) required
• Will consider both experienced and newly trained providers
