What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interventional Cardiology Physician Assistant position at TAL Healthcare?
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Interventional Cardiology Physician Assistant (PA) to join their dynamic team. This role will be responsible for the management of our Diagnostic and Interventional (Coronary Angioplasty and Structural Heart) patients in an outpatient and inpatient setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing history and physical exams with review of pertinent lab data
- Obtaining informed consent for procedures
- Managing and discharging pre and post procedure patients in the Ambulatory Heart Center
- Managing designated post interventional patients in a telemetry unit and expediting their next day discharge
- May move between sites as necessary.
Schedule:
- 3-day work week, 12.5 hrs shifts
- No weekends, no nights, no on-call
Education/Skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Graduate of an accredited PA program
- Physician Assistant License by New York State and certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- MUST HAVE 1 years of experience
Salary : $130,000 - $175,000
