Our client, a renowned academic hospital dedicated to serving the culturally diverse community of Queens is hiring a Psychiatrist, Director of Ambulatory Behavioral Health Services.
Responsibilities
- Play a crucial leadership role in the Integrated Outpatient Adult Services and general outpatient psychiatric services.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a large multi-disciplinary service
- Recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of all staff within the Behavioral Health Services department.
- Providing leadership and strategic direction to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary leadership team to enhance service integration and effectiveness.
- Demonstrating a strong academic interest in teaching and supervising psychiatric residents.
