Our client, a community hospital serving a culturally diverse area of New York City, is hiring a Psychiatrist, Medical Director of the Substance Use Disorders Services (SUD). The SUD Services include Ambulatory Care Services with Medically Supervised Outpatient Program, ED LEADS and an opportunity to participate in new initiatives including Addiction Response Team ART Services.
Responsibilities:
Our client, a community hospital serving a culturally diverse area of New York City, is hiring a Psychiatrist, Medical Director of the Substance Use Disorders Services (SUD). The SUD Services include Ambulatory Care Services with Medically Supervised Outpatient Program, ED LEADS and an opportunity to participate in new initiatives including Addiction Response Team ART Services.
Responsibilities:
- Administration, planning, organization and overall general management of the SUD Services.
- Join the Medical leadership team of Behavioral Health
- Participate in quality assurance and incident review management meetings
- Report to the Chief of Psychiatry
- Academic: play an important role in resident education
- Schedule: full-time
- MD/DO degree
- Board-Certified Adult Psychiatrist with Addiction Psychiatry Board Certification
- Valid New York State License to practice medicine
- DEA and Medicaid number
- Strong clinical abilities, teaching experience, communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior management/leadership positions and experience with academic medical center and/or public health systems is preferred.

Salary : $280,000 - $300,000
