Job Description
The candidate will perform Application Production Support activities as part of the EQD eTrading application support team . This role combines providing real-time support for Equity Derivatives eTrading systems with contributing to broader strategic initiatives. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring system stability, monitoring application performance, and facilitating smooth interactions between IT and the Equity Derivatives business (traders and sales).
Role and responsibilities
Front office Application Support
Provide proactive and reactive production support for Equity Derivatives applications.
- Manage and resolve incidents in real time, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities.
- Partner with development and product teams to address system issues and implement improvements.
Incident and Problem Management
Rapidly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
Monitoring and Maintenance
Develop and enhance monitoring tools to ensure optimal system performance.
Business Liaison and Proximity Support
Act as the technical interface for traders and business users in Equity Derivatives.
Knowledge Management and Documentation
Maintain detailed documentation for production environments, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
