Key Responsibilities:
- Review procurement requests, statements of work (SOW), plans, and specifications to assess completeness and ensure alignment with acquisition strategies.
- Assist in developing pre-solicitation documentation including DD Form 2579, Determinations & Findings, Justifications & Approvals, and synopses.
- Prepare solicitation documents, amendments, and responses to inquiries while ensuring compliance with federal acquisition laws and policies.
- Provide administrative and logistical assistance in proposal evaluations, including past performance assessments and cost evaluations.
- Assist in preparing pre-award documents, including source selection reports, price fair and reasonable determinations, and briefing materials.
- Support contract negotiations and communications with offerors.
- Draft and process task orders, contract modifications, option exercises, and contract action reports.
- Track contract issues, provide status updates and recommendations to the Contracting Officer.
- Maintain electronic contract files and ensure all required documentation is properly stored and accessible.
- Provide procurement clerical assistance, including contract distribution, report generation, and FOIA request processing.
- Participate in government meetings and acquisition strategy sessions to support contract execution.
- Prepare documentation for contract close-out activities, ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, acquisition, or contracting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Familiarity with Procurement Desktop-Defense (PD2) software.
- Active Top-Secret clearance with Presidential Support Duty designation.
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.
- 15 years of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) procurement, acquisition, or contracting.
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II/III Certification or Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C).
