The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting database solutions and contributing to automation and process improvement initiatives in a secure and regulated environment.

Talantage, LLC is seeking a skilled Database Analyst to provide operational support and development services for Oracle and SQL Server databases that support the Medical Quality Assurance systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting database solutions and contributing to automation and process improvement initiatives in a secure and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server T-SQL code, including stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system/database errors; document resolutions in ticketing system.
- Create and test database scripts and code to support system enhancements and bug fixes.
- Provide daily analytical reports, research findings, and communication to management based on business and technical needs.
- Collaborate with Agile development teams using the SCRUM framework.
- Automate processes using Python 2/3 or PowerShell 7 to improve system reliability and performance.
- Maintain and manage UNIX shell scripts used for scheduling and batch processes.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, version control (GIT), and container technologies (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes).
- Ensure strict adherence to data security and confidentiality policies.
- 3 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server T-SQL programming.
- 3 years working with relational databases in OLTP and DSS environments.
- 2 years of UNIX shell scripting.
- 2 years of process automation using Python or PowerShell.
- 2 years with version control tools like GIT.
- 2 years working within Agile/SCRUM development environments.
- 2 years of CI/CD pipeline implementation experience.
- 1 year of experience with container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience supporting Service Incident Reporting across multiple systems.
- Daily: Completion of development tasks, system troubleshooting, and reporting as assigned via ticketing system.
- Monthly: Submission of operational support and development activity reports.
