Talascend is seeking a Licensed Electrician Project Manager with data center experience for a permanent, full-time role in North Dakota. This position includes Per Diem, a Company Vehicle, Full Benefits, 401(k) with company match, and PTO.
In this role, you will manage projects focused on medium voltage electrical systems. Responsibilities include planning, execution, and delivery of projects while ensuring safety, budget control, and timely completion. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate medium voltage systems into data center infrastructure.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination: Lead the full project lifecycle for medium voltage systems (e.g., substations, switchgear, transformers). Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets while coordinating with design teams, contractors, engineers, and vendors.
- Medium Voltage System Integration: Ensure safe, reliable, and compliant integration of medium voltage systems into data center operations.
- Risk & Safety Management: Conduct risk assessments, enforce safety protocols, and maintain compliance with national and international standards.
- Budget & Financial Management: Develop and monitor project budgets, control costs, and track expenditures.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Conduct quality inspections, maintain updated project documentation, and ensure adherence to industry regulations.
Position Requirements:
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Journeyman Electrical License in ND (or a reciprocating state). PMP certification or equivalent preferred; certifications in electrical safety (e.g., NEC, IEC) are a plus.
- Experience: Demonstrated success managing large-scale data center projects with a focus on medium voltage systems (e.g., transformers, substations, switchgear). Experience with mission-critical facilities is essential.
