About the Role :
The Project Manager / Senior Project Manager will oversee the successful delivery of transit and rail engineering projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and according to specified requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of current engineering principles and practices relevant to various aspects affecting the organization. The Project Manager will manage the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design through construction and final delivery. Acting as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including internal teams, external contractors, and regulatory bodies, the Project Manager will ensure all project objectives are met while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance with industry regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Lead multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
- Coordinate efforts across teams to achieve project goals.
- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to provide project updates, address concerns, and facilitate decision-making.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely task completion.
- Address any delays promptly to keep the project on track.
- Manage project budgets by tracking expenditures and ensuring financial constraints are met.
- Document and manage scope changes, ensuring proper authorization and clear communication.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety and quality standards.
- Comply with relevant regulatory requirements throughout the project.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required to meet business needs.
