Talascend is currently seeking a Civil Designer for a direct hire opportunity with our client located in The Woodlands, TX.
OVERVIEW :
Our client is seeking a qualified and innovative Civil Designer at The Woodlands, Texas location to create and prepare detailed engineering drawings to be used in construction projects such as new alignment and reconstruction of underground distribution circuits, vaults, and manholes.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Under supervision, prepare construction plans, plan and profiles, site exhibits, and quantity take-offs.
- Drafting CAD support for assigned projects.
- Attend internal and external project meetings.
- Review submittals and contractor requests for information.
- Perform on-site inspections during construction and coordinate design requirements with contractors.
- Other duties as assigned and needed.
