Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Talbert Building Supply. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to customers in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliveries: Safely transport building materials to customers via company truck, ensuring accurate loads and secure tie-downs before departure.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by consistently meeting delivery schedules, acting courteously and professionally, and communicating any issues promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, signatures, fuel totals, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
- Certifications: Valid Class A CDL, High School diploma or equivalent.
- Skills: Excellent driving record, ability to handle 100 lbs. products, forklift operation (training provided), and effective documentation and organizational capacity.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to maintain personal integrity, provide feedback to management, practice personal development, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
