Please note a majority of the time is spent actually in stores, checking product in with management, working the product into the cooler and rotating, and working retail to the shelf/merchandising. All routes will leave from warehouse location of Lawrenceville, GA daily.
Description:
The Driver will be responsible for duties related to delivering and merchandising Boar's Head Brand products in local Grocery Stores. The trucks are Frieghtliner's with 26 ft reefer cooler boxes.
Duties:
-Ensure all retail deliveries are made on a timely basis.
-Check in the order with the deli manager in a timely fashion while monitoring dates on product.
-Perform proper rotation of all products in the deli service case, the walk in cooler and all retail coolers.
-Set up the deli display case; clean the risers and shelves as needed.
-Make sure that every item is displayed properly and is fully faced in the showcase.
-Clean and maintain retail cases according to company specification.
-Ensure that every item is straightened and organized according to price tags and POG's.
-Re-stock all retail items as needed.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Experience in delivering perishable products is preferred, but not required.
-1 to 3 years delivery and/or warehouse experience preferred.
- Must be able to comfortably lift 50 lb boxes and push/pull fully loaded piece carts from delivery trucks to floor
