Position Summary:
Directs and oversees all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development and implementation of internal control policies and procedures.
Position Description:
- Manage accounting operations including Billing, Accounts receivables/payables, GL and counsel, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Lead and Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Manage, coach, and develop direct reports to ensure goals and objectives are met
- Will participate in succession planning for future advancement into CFO role
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
- Active CPA License required
- Ten years’ healthcare billing experience
- Five years supervisory experience
- A valid driver’s license and current auto insurance is required
