Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Liaison/Counselor to join our team in Clyde, Ohio. Under the supervision of the Regional Director of Clinical Services, you will play a vital role in providing assessments, counseling, and clinical interventions to individuals, families, and groups. In this role, you will also be responsible for completing Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) for clients, helping to guide them through their recovery process with structured, supportive care. As part of this fulfilling role, you will integrate Trauma-Informed Care practices into your work, ensuring that clients feel supported and empowered throughout their recovery journey. You will collaborate closely with care teams, ensuring the best possible outcomes for those we serve.
This is a full-time, hourly position with flexible scheduling, providing the opportunity to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact in clients’ lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Client-Focused Care: Conduct thorough initial assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to meet individual needs.
- Engagement & Interventions: Provide individual, group, and family therapy, offering compassionate, client-centered support.
- Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs): Complete and facilitate IOPs, ensuring clients receive structured, therapeutic support in their recovery journey.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals and agencies to coordinate care and deliver the most effective treatment for clients.
- Accurate Documentation: Maintain up-to-date, detailed client records in compliance with agency standards and legal requirements.
- Support Recovery: Offer crisis intervention, client education, and referrals, all while upholding Talbot's mission and values in every interaction.

Qualifications
Required:
- Active Ohio LSW, LPC, or LCDC II or III license in good standing.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Preferred:
- Active Ohio LISW, LPCC, or LICDC license in good standing.
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- CPR/First Aid/AED and Crisis Prevention/De-escalation training.
