Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguards to ensure the safety and well-being of all members, their families, and their guests at our pool facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills and be trained in lifesaving techniques, including CPR and First Aid. As a Lifeguard, you will monitor pool activities, enforce safety rules, and provide exceptional guest services to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors.
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Assist in pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and chemical balancing.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing member inquiries and concerns.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on lifesaving techniques and emergency procedures.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed for equipment or maintenance tasks.
Skills
- Proficient swimming abilities with a strong understanding of water safety.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; Lifeguard certification is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Experience in guest services to enhance the overall visitor experience.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance practices, including cleaning procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for equipment handling or maintenance tasks.
- A proactive approach to identifying potential hazards and addressing them promptly.
