Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Completes medical screening and/or assessment of new clients upon admission according to level of care procedures.
- Monitors medication process for individuals, including supervision of medication distribution, supervising self-administration process.
- Prepares Medication Administration Record (MAR).
- Provides on-going consumer education (group and individual) regarding medications.
- Implements and monitor procedures for random urine drug screens to ensure that each individual is screened as appropriate.
- Ensures that test results are documented in medical file and with patient’s clinician.
Education and Experience
- Unencumbered State of Georgia RN License or Multi-State Equivelent.
- CPR Certified
- Experience working in psychology/psychiatry or Addiction preferred
