Taldeco is a manufacturing consultant partnering with manufacturing plants to help the ideal candidates find the ideal jobs. We are currently seeking a lead flexographic press operator for one of our clients specializing in custom printed roll stock for form and fill applications, printed poly bags, and a range of high-quality films of plastic bags and flexible packaging serving a variety of markets with an emphasis on retail food packaging.
Pay: $25 - 40/hr (depending on specific experience)
Job Responsibilities:
- Select and mix the proper paints for each custom job
- Input paint into machines
- Edit programs to make any necessary adjustments
- Select the proper program to run the press
- Troubleshoot the press and make repairs to the presses
- Set up, run and repair the presses
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of operating a flexographic press, specifically with plastic material
- Experience working with plastics
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Reliable transportation
