The Cyber Analyst Intern will play a critical role in identifying, managing, and mitigating risks related to information security and ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.

What will you own?
- Security Policy Development: Collaborate in the development and refinement of security policies aligning to NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF).
- Risk Assessments and Decision-Making: You will work on quantifying and prioritizing risks to assist in decision-making.
- Compliance Monitoring and Updates: Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
- Identity Governance Administration (IGA): Work closely with the team to initiate access review campaigns. Work with various stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback related to identity governance.
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of NIST CSF, SOX, risk management, and cybersecurity principles Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in virtual and in-person environments
- Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university
- Must be a rising junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Security and Risk Management or a related discipline
- Enrolled full-time with a minimum of 12 semester hours
- Maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Eligible to work in the U.S. in accordance with BCIS guidelines
- Able to provide an official student transcript and any other required documentation
- Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with others
- Demonstrated leadership potential through academic, extracurricular, or community involvement
- Internship eligibility ends upon graduation from the academic program
