Due to business requirements, this is an on-site position and must be willing to live within 35 mile radius of Colstrip, MT.
Willing to train the right candidate with the required educational background. Starting Pay from 70,000 to 110,000 DOE and bonus potential.
Position Summary:
This position is operational technology(OT) for a power generating facility. Under general direction, responsible for the on-site hosted OT infrastructure for the in-plant computer systems, distributed control systems, plant condition monitoring systems, real-time databases, and access control systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Installs, configures, and maintains:
Evaluates non-business line computer system performance and prepares equipment strategies that support continued high performance of the plants control systems as well as the ongoing real-time data systems.
Monitors ongoing changes from the regulatory environment as it relates to NERC security. Makes recommendations to plant management on how to remain in compliance in an ever-changing environment.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, computer related field, or;
Associate’s Degree in computer related field with at least 2 years’ of experience in computer related field
Proven experience with Windows Servers and Workstations, both software and hardware
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer computer-related experience based in industrial applications
Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex system related issues
Proven experience with:
