Job Description :
Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Tech to join their surgical team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and providing support to surgeons and nurses. This position requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field before and during surgery.
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments, sponges, and other supplies during procedures.
- Ensure proper handling and care of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Assist in room turnover and sterilization of equipment post-surgery.
