Memorial Healthcare is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst/Accountant to support financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning. This role involves preparing financial statements, analyzing transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and acting as a financial consultant for leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements for the hospital and related entities.
Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Analyze and explain financial variances from budget and forecasts.
Assist leadership in long-range strategic financial planning.
Prepare reconciliations and supporting documentation for audits and tax returns.
Oversee accounting operations and coordinate financial matters with other departments.
Provide leadership and mentoring to other team members.
Maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.

At least five years of professional accounting experience.
Public accounting experience required.
Experience in healthcare accounting preferred.
Knowledge of accounting standards ASC 606 and ASC 842.
Proficiency with general ledger software, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office.
QuickBooks experience strongly preferred.
CPA license preferred.
