Job Description:
Hammonds Lane Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative care, assist patients in regaining mobility, and improve overall physical function. This is a permanent, full-time role with a Monday-Friday schedule and weekend rotation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques for home care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with facility protocols.
Requirements:
- Maryland PTA License.
- Degree from an accredited PTA program.
- Minimum 1 year of PTA experience.
Salary : $27 - $32
