Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
Pay Rate : $40 / hr on W2 | $43 / hr on 1099
Job Description :
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative care to patients in a skilled nursing setting. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring quality therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and overall function.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out treatment plans for patients.
- Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and mobility training as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques for continued progress.
- Monitor and document patient response to treatment and report findings to the Physical Therapist.
- Ensure compliance with facility protocols and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
