Position - Certified Coder (Remote)
Facility - Parkland Health
Address - 5200 Harry Hines Blvd, Dallas, TX 75235
Contract - 13 weeks (with a high chance of extension)
Shift - 8a-5p CST
Rate - 30 / hr
Requirements
AAPC certificate required; MUST be CPC, CPC-H and / or COC
2 years of coding experience in Hospital setting ranging from ED, Surgery, Trauma, Psych including telehealth
must be able to handle HIGH Volume of cases
Hospital experience
knowledgeable in ICD-9 / ICD-10-CM / PCS, CPT-4 / HCPCS, HCC and HEDIS CAT II, E / M coding
knowledge & proficiency of EPIC EHR and 3M 360 coding is encouraged
ability to assign CPT codes
must have graduated from an approved coding program or health information management program
