Pay Rate : $54 / hr on W2
Areas to Cover : West Portland, OR; Newberg / McMinnville, OR; and surrounding areas
Job Description :
Providence Home Health West is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in their homes. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, assist with mobility exercises, and help patients regain independence. This role requires travel within the assigned coverage areas.
Responsibilities :
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper movement techniques and home exercise programs.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Document treatments and patient responses in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
- Travel to patient homes within assigned coverage areas.
- Maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
