Analytics Engineer, Data Strategy

Our client is a leading reinsurance intermediary here in NYC. They offer accidents and health, agriculture, alternative risk transfer, general casualty, investment banking, life and annuity, marine and energy, professional liability, program manager solutions, property, retrocessional, structured risk, surety, terror risk, and workers compensation reinsurance products. Our client also provides client services, such as accounts, claims, contract wordings, and settlement. Due to company growth, they are seeking a Fulltime Sr. Analytics Engineer, Data Strategy, to join their leading team here in NYC. This individual will be working with Data Strategy data engineers, data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders from other internal teams to provide business value and increase the efficiency of their internal colleagues.

Job Title: Senior Analytics Engineer, Data Strategy

Location: New York, NY. (3x per week onsite)

Required Technology And Skills

• 5 years of experience as a data analyst, analytics engineer, or similar role.
• Proven track record of deploying data products.
• 2 years of experience with data modeling
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Working knowledge of ETL/ELT and REST API principles. Plus, schema design across source systems, data lakes, and dashboards
• Bachelor’s Degree – Required
• Experience with natural language processing (Preferred)
• Experience on a high-performing data team at a technology, consulting, or start-up company ( preferred)
  
  

Salary Range: Base salary range of $150,000 - $180,000 a competitive bonus structure
