The Client: We are a remote support, screen-sharing, and co-browsing technology company. You will work on many of our core services. You will be part of our fully remote DevOps team, responsible for implementing infrastructure as code, build and release processes, monitoring, and developing developer tooling. You will build technology that scales globally.
Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: 100% Remote
Required Technology And Skills
- 5 years of proven experience in a production environment
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on coding
- Extensive experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in AWS services and cloud infrastructure management
- Experience with containerization technologies, especially Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools, particularly AWS CDK and Terraform
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
Nice To Have Skills
- Introducing AWS CDK with Typescript, to assist with our migration to IAC.
- Developed shared CDK modules to ease development.
- Beginning migration from Jenkins to AWS CodeBuild and Code Pipelines
- Scaled active applications and latency traffic routing into 10 regions globally.
- Enabled auto scaling through containerization of services on AWS ECS
Salary And Compensation
- Salary will be based on experience with a target of $170,000.
