My direct client has been a trusted source of knowledge and information for over two centuries. This historic organization provides accurate, reliable, and comprehensive content to learners and educators worldwide. As the organization continues to evolve, they are seeking a sales lead to join their team.Title :  Sales Lead, NewslettersDuration : Fulltime Location : 100% Fully Remote (Candidates must be based in the US)Salary :  $160,000 – $200,000 base salary w / on target bonus of 15-20%Requirements

  • 5 years of proven experience in sales, particularly in digital media, newsletter monetization, content marketing, or similar fields (preferably with a focus on ad sales, subscription models, and / or partnership development).Strong understanding of email marketing, newsletter platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor), and digital advertising models (CPM, CPC, sponsored content, etc.).Excellent track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas, with a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape and subscription-based business models. Proven ability to sell to a variety of stakeholders including advertisers, marketing executives, brand managers, and content directors.A network of industry contacts in digital media, advertising, publishing, or similar verticals is a plus. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals in a competitive market.Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, both with internal teams and external clients. ResponsibilitiesAdvertising Sales : Sell advertising space within our newsletters and across the digital platform, managing the sales pipeline from prospecting to close. Work with advertisers and agencies to align on campaign objectives, targeting, and ad placements. Subscription & Premium Content Sales : Promote and sell paid subscriptions to our premium newsletter offerings. Develop strategies to grow subscription revenue, including trials, upsells, and renewals. Sponsorship & Partnership Development : Identify, negotiate, and secure sponsorship deals for our newsletters.
