Service Engineer

Our client is one of the nations leading machine manufactures and they are looking to hire a Service Engineer for their Central Midwest region. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working on CNC Machinery and field service experience.

Title: Service Engineer

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL or Michigan

Required Skills And Responsibilities

• Provide customers with maintenance, repair, and installation assistance of machine tools via phone or going onsite
• Creating and updating documentation of technical information.
• Develop ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to Service
• Provide assistance and training to Customer’s Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of newer product lines.
• Build strong customer service relationships with customers.
• Manage difficult customer situations in a positive manner and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time to customer
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
• Experience working with manufacturing machines
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence ladder diagrams.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  
  

Compensation

• $70,000 – $95,000
• Overtime pay
