Our client is a prestigious, global investment firm that has been a leader in the industry for 20 years. With a HQ in Greenwich, Connecticut, this firm has over 500 employees and manages more than $150B for various institutional investors. They are seeking an additional Application Support Engineer to join their growing team where you will support various trading and internal applications throughout the firm.
Job Title: Trading Application / Production Support Engineer
Location: Office in Greenwich, CT (50min commute from Grand Central). This is a hybrid role, with an onsite requirement 2-3x per week
Required Technology And Skills
- 3 years of professional experience supporting trading systems, including order management systems (OMS), execution management systems (EMS), and Bloomberg
- Strong SQL skills
- Strong skills with scripting in Java, Python, PowerShell, or C#.
- Interest in continuing to work in financial services and supporting traders
- Understanding of pre and post trade lifecycle
- Knowledge of FIX protocol
- Strong communication skills and ability to support uses via phone, email, and in-person
- Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, identify and resolve bug-fixes
Additional Skills
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or STEM related field
- Team player
- Experience supporting financial/trading and/or mission-critical applications
Salary Range: $125,000 – $140,000 base salary (based one experience), plus 15,000 to 25,000 guaranteed annual cash bonus (based on experience)
