Software Developer
Location: On-site – Lowell, MA
Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of web-based software applications.
Analyze business and system requirements to create detailed designs, technical specifications, and programming code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with project standards and best practices for high-quality application development.
Debug and troubleshoot existing software as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with C#, ASP, SQL, VB & VBScript, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS, XML/XSLT, C , AJAX, Perl, and jQuery.
E-Commerce Experience: Prior experience in an e-commerce environment is a plus.
Web Services & Workflow Knowledge: Understanding of web services, PDF workflows, and batch file processing.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in publishing or graphic arts workflows is a plus.
Software Configuration & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages and configuration management.
Linux Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Linux-based environments.
Relational Databases: At least two years of experience working with relational databases.
Object-Oriented Design: Strong foundation in OOP, component design, and web application architecture.
Cross-Browser Development: Familiarity with HTML development across multiple browsers.
Security & Customization: Experience in web security, personalization, and customization.
Analytical & Debugging Skills: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
