Talent 101 is looking for an entry level Engineering Lab Technician with the following role and responsibilities in Austin, TX:
1. Maintain lab inventory and track equipment under repairs
2. Troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical problems and provide prompt reports
3. Be able to solder/remove board components while adhering to best industry standards
4. Monitor silicon validation testing while collecting pertinent data parameters
5. Support validation engineering test activities
6. Maintain and restock Lab supplies as needed
7. Monitor Lab operations in compliance with directives
8. Transporting material between inventory areas and labs. Lifting required to ~50 pounds
Requirements:
- High School diploma required; Associates Degree in Electronics is preferred
- Two years of experience in the semiconductor industry
- Soldering experience along with proper certification
- Familiar with the use Lab Equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc)
- Familiar with product testing operations
- Familiar with CalWeb and LabVIEW tools
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Good communication skills is a must.
