Our customer has asked Talent 101 to identify a FAC Facilities Operator II for a 12 month project located in Dallas, Texas. (2nd Shift, 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.)
What is the project about, what will the selected candidate be doing and what is the outcome our customer expects?
We are looking for skilled Facilities Chemical and Gas Operators to join our team. As a Facilities Operator, you will perform technical tasks in support of operations and maintenance activities on the facility’s mechanical, chemical and electrical systems supporting semiconductor manufacturing tools.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and escalate chemical and gas systems issues in a timely and effective manner
- Perform daily duties, (including but not limited to): completing chemical and gas change-outs, material stocking and deliveries, rounds & readings, 5S
- Maintain and operate specialty gas and chemical delivery equipment
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of delivery equipment
- Comply with all applicable Safety and Regulatory standards including, but not limited to: PPE, DOT/RCRA
- Commitment to working via a highly standardized set of instructions is required
- Support bulk gas and chemical deliveries, offloads and transfers
- Execute corrective and preventive maintenance in accordance with approved methods and Worldwide Facilities maintenance strategy guidelines
- Execute proper management of hazardous and nonhazardous waste. Maintain an understanding of applicable hazardous waste laws
- Forklift & PIT Operations
- Support Factory and Facilities Engineering requested activities
- Knowledge of modern electronics technology
What is required to be successful in this opportunity?
Minimum requirements:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of experience & education.
- 1-3 years in field as a technician
- Willingness to work on a compressed work schedule- 12hr shifts
- Willingness to handle call-in situations after hours
- Ability to read, understand, and update mechanical, electrical, chemical, and controls system drawings
- Computer/software skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP
