What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Site/Estimator position at Talent Acquisition Concepts?

The ideal candidate will provide subject matter expertise in the bidding sub-divisions and industrial sites. Our client is a large, regional site contractor performing construction for new installation of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems as well as grading and road building. Our client works mostly with sub-divisions and industrial sites. All of it ground down and preppers of the site with underground piping, erosion, grading, curbing of roads. This position is onsite and located in Lexington, SC.
In this role you will be expected to:
- Read civil plans, performing take offs, gathering pricing, and completing estimates/bids
- Experience with various computer programs such as AutoCad, Heavy Bid, MC2 and Bid 2 Win
- We are willing to train a recent or near future graduate who has AutoCad skills.
We're looking for someone who is/has:
- 3 years minimum in estimating experience or 2 years experience with a BS in Civil Engineering
