Equipment Transport Road Driver GAT Sky Cafe is seeking dynamic, dependable, and motivated individuals to joinour team at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport! Over the Road DriverJob Summary: Transport all necessary equipment for assigned flights from Cleveland HopkinsInternational Airport to John Glenn Columbus International Airport and retrieve inbound equipment. Job Duties: Gather all necessary equipment for assigned flights. Verify flight documentation to ensure correct items are loaded. Retrieve inbound equipment from Columbus and return to Cleveland. Comply with standard operating procedures regarding driving, loading, and unloading carts onand off the dock. Important Requirements Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to operate a high lift truck over the road from Cleveland to Columbus round trip. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug screens and a criminalbackground check including all TSA and Custom requirements. Must be able to carry, lift, push and pull 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk and move 8 hour shift Must fluently speak and write English. Most work is performed outdoors. Must be able to work in all weather conditions including butnot limited to rain, snow, and heat with protective clothing. Must be able to follow and abide by all safety and security requirements. Works in a time sensitive environment ensuring all product meets required ready times. Must be able to perform work using required PPE (personal protective equipment) including butnot limited to protective goggles, hearing protection, safety footwear and all required PPE. Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time totime, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Must be flexible to work in an environment that might include overnights, weekends, andholidays. Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Sky Cafe rules andregulations for the safe and effective operation of the Flight Kitchen.
