As an APC in our Randolph, MA children and adolescent group home location, you will be at the heart of our mission, providing essential support to individuals ages 3 to 21 with Autism and developmental disabilities in a shared living setting to help them achieve their goals and dreams. With compassion, creativity, and a commitment to personalized care, you will engage in activities that promote skill-building and enhance overall quality of life.
Get Ready to Make a Difference: Your Role in Action! • Quality Assurance: Step in as a reliable leader, ensuring the program runs smoothly in the Program Manager’s absence by coordinating daily activities and programs for all residents. • Personalized Care: Craft and provide tailored therapeutic programs that foster independence and promote community inclusion. • Resident Empowerment: Assess residents' abilities and create individualized treatment plans that enhance their personal skills and growth. • Goal-Oriented Support: Develop and implement meaningful annual goals for each resident, helping them reach new milestones. • Daily Support: Assist residents in maintaining a clean and organized living environment, ensuring they have the tools they need for success. • Collaboration: Partner with the Program Coordinator to manage residents’ medical and healthcare appointments, ensuring timely and effective care.
Your Skills and Talents: A Perfect Fit! • Experience: Bring at least 1 year of experience in human services or a related field. • Leadership: Showcase your prior supervisory experience and leadership skills in a caregiving or therapeutic setting. • Reliable Driver: Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record—ready to transport residents safely when needed! • Compassionate Leadership: Excel at supporting and guiding others with empathy, patience, and respect. • Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic environment where you can flex your problem-solving skills and adapt to the unique needs of each resident. • Team Player: Work alongside a collaborative team, supporting residents and fellow staff with enthusiasm and care.
