What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator (2nd Shift) position at Talent Acquisition Team?
In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity to:
Listen actively and takes direction from Supervisor regarding daily work priorities
Assemble, inspect, and package product per cell work instructions.
Train on job functions performed but may not be trained on all applicable aspects of the machine/area; therefore, may not be performing all functions.
Perform traveler activities per applicable work instructions: component traceability, label verification, and line clearance.
Perform change overs (not tool changes) in required time, with minimal set up scrap
Maintain 6S work environment – cleanliness and organization Actively learn Operations Management System (OMS) and follow the guidelines and practices within it
Actively learn our internal ERP system IFS and work towards IFS certification
Become certified in GDP
Alway follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Work towards productivity goals for assigned area, creating quality product
Utilize your downtime properly
What You Need to Succeed in This Position
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Proficient in verbal and written communication with the ability to read and understand work instructions in English
Must have a positive attitude while maintaining flexibility
Conscientious, accurate, and detailed-oriented regarding work output
Prior manufacturing experience preferred and Lean Manufacturing knowledge a plus
Availability to frequently work overtime and weekends
