Our continued success relies on hiring extraordinary talent, with a passion for making a difference and eagerness to roll up the sleeves, to help us write the story of our next 100 years.    Position Summary:  Join our team as a Scholastic Sales Representative and take on a pivotal role in fostering positive and enriching school environments. In this position, you will celebrate experiences, milestones, and achievements within the educational community while driving growth in your assigned territory accounts. You will service and grow your own territory accounts. You will maintain, strengthen and build relationships to stay apprised of customer needs and priorities as related to our services.   What we want you to accomplish: Establish a systematic process for nurturing leads through the sales funnel. Capability to develop and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives, prioritize opportunities, and allocate resources efficiently to maximize sales outcomes. Deliver outstanding customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner. Execute robust marketing campaigns in all accounts, increasing base sales year over year. Use CRM software to monitor the status of leads and opportunities, analyze sales data, and provide insights on pipeline health and performance. Attend all learning and development opportunities to consistently grow your skills and abilities. Act as a liaison between Herff Jones and educational institutions, fostering a spirit of partnership and collaboration. Core Competencies: Ability to drive sales in both new and existing markets. Deliver compelling presentations to students, parents and key decision makers. Develop trusted and loyal business partnerships both externally and with our internal partners. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to connect with diverse stakeholders. Attend regularly scheduled sales and technical training meetings, including area, regional and national sales conventions for the purpose of learning Herff Jones’ products, programs, and processes. Call on all assigned customer and prospect schools in the territory on a regular basis to effectively increase market penetration and meet sales growth goals.   Success Indicators: 1-2 Years of proven sales experience, preferably in a scholastic or educational environment. Successfully grown or developed sales/business opportunities consistently over the course of tenure. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and/or client needs simultaneously. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the capability to adapt to changing customer needs. Responsive and dependable in communication, execution of self-appointed tasks. Unafraid to work in a highly competitive market, driven primarily by relationships and value-added products. Highly self-driven and results-oriented, with a genuine passion for improving educational experiences. Highly Independent and entrepreneurial mindset. Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
